Counselor's Corner
Services Counselors Provide:
Placement
Counselors assist students in their placement and scheduling of classes according to ability, interests, and academic needs.
Transitions
Counselors help students transition from 6th to 7th grade and from 8th to 9th by providing information through orientation and class visits.
Testing
Counselors coordinate and administer group achievement tests and interpret test results for students and parents.
Monitoring educational progress
Counselors consult with students, teachers and parents about a student’s educational progress.
Individual counseling
Counselors assist students in resolving their personal, social, educational, and career concerns on a one-to-one basis. We can also provide referrals to community resources.
